String Theory

Hannah Jaumot is a textile and mixed media artist raised in Saint Augustine, Florida. She knew she wanted to be an artist when she won her first-grade art competition. Ever since then, Hannah has put all her time and effort into perfecting her work and exploring new techniques. She studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design. At this university, Hannah found her love for textiles and decided to major in Fibers where she works on surface pattern collections, embroidered paintings, and studying the uses of acrylic paint skins in textile work. Hannah finds inspiration from her parent’s antique collections, Carl Sagan’s “Pale Blue Dot”, microscopic cells, and miniatures packed with detail. Outside of the art world, Hannah enjoys playing piano, reading as many books as possible, and being a cat mom to two beautiful kitties.
